About The Author

Dr. Walter Lin

Dr. Walter Lin was a Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Scientist before October 2021 with Global 500 corporations. He earned his BS from Tsinghua University in 1985 and completed his Ph.D. at Florida State University in 1997. Following his doctoral studies, Dr. Lin was a postdoc fellow at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications from 1997 to 1998 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also contributed his expertise as a professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University from 2003 to 2004. Dr. Lin boasts six awarded US invention patents and has authored a peer-reviewed technical book published by Taylor & Francis Publisher. Additionally, he has contributed numerous peer-reviewed technical papers to prestigious journals such as the International Journals of Heat Transfer (ASME), International Journals of Fluids Engineering (ASME), and International Journals of Engineering Mechanics (ASCE), among others.
